Trips for Kids Vancouver Society is excited to announce a new partnership with The North Face for 2011

The Trips for Kids board can hardly wait for the snow to melt and our ride leaders and youth to hit the local trails – equipped with the latest and greatest gear from The North Face of course.

The North Face will be providing financial support as well as uniforms and riding gear to our Summer Rides staff, Youth Leadership Program participants and over 400 other youth participants this season

Our new sponsor has also provided us with three Gopro head cameras for youth participants to record their riding experiences. The board has been eagerly testing the new gear on the winter slopes over the Holiday break and will be posting some footage on the site soon.

Stay tuned to our website for more updates.

This past Monday (August 9th), the TFKV Youth Leaders Club were the first group of volunteers to join the crew from the District of North Van to reshape a Fromme favorite – Bobsled!

This joint project by the NSMBA and the DNV offers an exciting shift in North Shore trail-building; with a smooth and flowy style true to its’ namesake.

Trips For Kids is UBER excited to take part in shaping new trails that are accessible to the beginner/intermediate rider. Props to the NSMBA and the DNV for developing this partnership, and the visioning for more collaboration into the future!

Many thanks especially to Nate, James, and Alex from the DNV for hosting us!
